About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Makati Finance Corporation as a Loan Officer in our Makati City office. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and helping clients secure the financing they need to achieve their goals. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career development and growth within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Engaging with customers to understand their financial needs and goals
• Evaluating loan applications and supporting documentation to assess credit worthiness
• Preparing and submitting loan applications and supporting paperwork
• Liaising with internal teams and external partners to facilitate the loan approval process
• Providing regular updates to customers on the status of their loan applications
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional financial products and services

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar customer-facing financial services role
• A strong understanding of mortgage and loan products, as well as credit assessment and approval processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
• A detailed-oriented approach and excellent organisational skills
• Proficiency in using financial software and systems
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
