Job Overview:
- Manage Moodle LMS: Managing the Moodle Learning Management System, ensuring its functionality, performance, and user accessibility.
Content Management: Upload, organize, and maintain digital learning materials and courses within Moodle, adhering to organisational standards and user requirements.- User Support: Provide technical support to users of the Moodle platform, troubleshooting issues and assisting with inquiries related to course access, navigation, and functionality.
System Configuration: Customize and configure Moodle settings, plugins, and modules to optimize the LMS for organizational needs and user experience.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and quality checks of courses and content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with standards and guidelines.
Data Management: Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and course enrollments within Moodle, ensuring data integrity and security protocols are upheld.- Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and provide guidance to instructors and users on how to effectively utilize Moodle features and tools.
Integration and Upgrades: Collaborate with IT and instructional design teams to integrate external tools and systems with Moodle, and manage upgrades and updates as required.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports on LMS usage, course metrics, and user engagement to inform decision-making and improvements.
Follow instructions provided by supervisors or managers regarding tasks, projects, and organizational protocols to ensure alignment with departmental goals and objectives in a respectful manner.
Bachelors Degree in Education, Computer Science or related field.- LMS Administration: Proven experience in administering Moodle or similar Learning Management Systems, including configuration, maintenance, and user support.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and possibly PHP for basic customization and troubleshooting within Moodle.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical users.
