Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and standards set by the head chef.
Station Setup: Ensure all stations are well-stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment before service begins.
- Cooking: Cook dishes during service, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and timing.
Quality Control: Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation. Ensure all dishes meet established standards.- Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the head chef.
Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of food. Communicate effectively with the head chef and sous chef. Adaptability: Adjust to changing menu items and special dietary needs or allergies as required.
- Efficiency: Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1 2 years of work experience in the said position.
