Overview:To undertake tasks such as Fiber Optic installation, configuration, testing, operation and
maintenance of wired and wireless infrastructure for the provision of Wi-Fi internet access.
- Functions and Specific Responsibilities:
Performs maintenance check of fiber optic cables
- Performs tasks such as climbing ladders & utility poles, fusion splicing of optical
fibers, new splicing and repair splicing- Responsible in handling delicate fibers
Responsible in conducting periodic check of the fiber optic infrastructure
- Responsible in troubleshooting problems, identifies and create solution
Performs technical testing of fiber optic cables in the field- Visually identifies fibers through labeling and color-coding
Undergraduate or Graduates are welcome to apply
- Must have a valid Driver's License & knows how to drive a Manual vehicle
Knowledgeable with Fiber Optic Maintenance & Splicing
