Line Technician 2

I. BASIC FUNCTION

Line technician is responsible in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, preservation and maintaining good condition of all Injection Molding Machines, equipment and utilities, monitoring of power and water consumption and availability. Ensure that all machineries fault/deviations are reported and corrected in a timely and cost effective manner. Ensure optimum condition of Injection Molding Machines, Chillers/Air conditioners, cooling tower, Production pumps, Air compressor, Granulator machine, Power transformer, Capacitor Bank, Fork Lift/Reach truck and other equipment. Supports production to ensure that no unscheduled machine and mold related downtime will occur during production operations.

• II. RESPONSIBILITIES

· Daily monitoring of the following parameters essential to operations/reports compliance:

Ø Power and water consumption reading(m³/KWH)

Ø Power related monitoring of input/output voltages, power factor, current, thermal scanning, etc.

Ø Chiller and Cooling tower suction and discharge pressure, entering and leaving water temperature, current reading, oil levels and condition monitoring.

Ø Air compressor running hours, air pressure, air filters, control circuit, oil level, V-belt tension and condition.

· Log all problems encountered with action taken and discuss preventive action with immediate supervisor/head.

· Troubleshoot/Repair mold related problems that encountered during shift hours in absence of mold technicians and supervisor.

· Execute/Implement preventive maintenance activities of all machineries as scheduled and fill out the Maintenance Request Form and log important details accordingly.

· Monitor inventory of spare parts, recommend acquisition and feedback durability of parts used.

· Organize location of tools, spare parts for easy monitoring, availability of parts, inventory and proper handling of tools.

· Rehabilitation of replaced/defective component for further usage.

· Initiate/Perform improvement project inhouse approve by immediate supervisor/head.

· Perform other job assign from time to time by immediate supervisor.
