Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

As a Line QA, you will be responsible for inspecting products during the manufacturing process to identify defects, deviations from quality standards, and other issues that could compromise product quality. You will work closely with production personnel and QA leads to ensure that only high-quality products proceed to the next phase of production or packaging.

  • MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • In-line Inspection
  • Conduct real-time inspections of products on the production line to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Quality Checks
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks on products as per predetermined specifications and criteria.
  • Defect Identification
  • Identify and document defects, discrepancies, or deviations from quality standards. Categorize and report issues appropriately.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including defect types, quantities, and locations. Record inspection data in logs or digital systems.
  • Communication
  • Communicate inspection findings to production operators, supervisors, and quality control teams. Collaborate with colleagues to address and rectify quality issues promptly.
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Ensure that inspection equipment and tools are properly calibrated and maintained for accurate and reliable results.
  • Process Improvement
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to prevent recurring quality issues and enhance overall production efficiency.
  • Adherence to Procedures
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to conduct inspections consistently and in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Safety Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical or quality control training is a plus).
Previous experience in quality control or inspection roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations (if applicable).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle defects.
  • Good communication skills to effectively convey inspection results and collaborate with team members.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15,
  • 00 - Php16,000.00 per month
