You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking and assembling dishes according to our recipes and specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food quality will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, making of sauces ahead of time and the like.
- Cook and plate dishes according to recipes and guidelines.
Ensure food quality by tasting and adjusting seasoning as necessary.- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation of ingredients.
Follow proper kitchen closing procedures.
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods.- Ability to lift heavy pots and equipment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
