QUALIFICATIONS- Previous working experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.

Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings or basically mise en place.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauting, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Assesses inventory and requests resupply when necessary Plates meal items under the superiors supervision
Disposes of spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies- Assist during service, check all items brought to the pass to ensure they meet the menu standard, only sending food which meets these standards.
Ensure all recipes are followed accordingly; adhering to allergen information.
- Ensure any maintenance issues are reported to the Head Chef in a timely manner.
Ensure that you report to work as scheduled;- Prepare all dishes following recipes and yield guides
Ensure food costs remain within company recommended levels
- Communicate any assistance needed during busy periods to the Head Chef to ensure optimum service to guests
Maintain production charts according to department standards- Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost
