Practice PPE Exams is a unique licensing advisor for engineering in Canada. Based in Ottawa, ON, we help clients across Canada get their P.Eng. sooner. We support over 5,000 clients per year with different licensing steps using courses, tools, and AI.

Role Description

The Licensing Coordinator will work 4 hours per day, Thursday to Monday. 11 am to 3 PM EST (11 pm to 3 am PHST). This will compliment our other Licensing Coordinator, hired from here on LinkedIn back in April, who works Monday to Friday. This role will help us provide excellent weekend support to our clients. The aim is to hire you full-time in the fall if we keep growing. When transiting to the fall, we'll likely keep it Thursday to Monday, but 8 hours per day.

The Licensing Coordinator will be responsible for:

Supporting engineers by email, text and the occasional video call. Answering support tickets about the licensing steps and our courses will constitute 3/4 of your time.

Other activitiessending clients gifts, drafting newsletters, updating course material, drafting social media posts, graphic design, and developing educational content.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

Excellent knowledge of the licensing process in Canada (we'll train you on this!)

Zeal for customer service

Love for engineering content

Engr. designation (or similar) is required. A background in civil or electrical is preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Average to good computer skills are needed (as we use WordPress, FreshDesk and lots of other SaaS)
