This Level 1 Help Desk Technician role will put you in the heart of IT support, working closely with customers to ensure they get the help they need when they need it. You'll troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues, install and configure applications, and assist with Microsoft Office 2019. If you're experienced in supporting users with their technical queries, this is your chance to shine.

Shift: Day Shift, Mon - Fri (06:00 AM - 03:00 PM)

Work setup: Onsite (Makati)

Tech-Savvy Troubleshooter: Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 Help Desk support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues for stakeholders.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop applications like Microsoft Office 2019.
  • Assist users with common Office 2019 issues and offer support for printers, scanners, and multi-function devices.
  • Resolve hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops, and communicate technical solutions via phone and email.
  • Log, monitor, and manage incidents to ensure SLA targets are consistently met.
  • Provide support for VOIP phone systems and other devices.

Requirements

Tech Talk: Qualifications Needed

Technical Knowledge:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong understanding of workstation and laptop components
  • Familiarity with printers and multi-function devices
  • General knowledge of internet principles, including DNS, DHCP, and IP configuration

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktop operating systems
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Desired Knowledge:

  • Experience using remote support tools and techniques
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Familiarity with network security principles and best practices
