Job Description

Job Title: Legal Assistant
  • Job Description: As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal department's daily operations. You will assist our legal team with administrative tasks, legal research, document preparation, and ensure regulatory and corporate compliance. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling legal matters.
  • Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence under the guidance of senior legal staff.
Maintain and organize legal files, documents, and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of laws, regulations, and court decisions relevant to the company's operations.
Assist in preparing and filing legal documents with courts and government agencies, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with various government entities, regulatory agencies, and external counsel to obtain permits, licenses, and approvals.
Draft and distribute minutes of meetings, ensuring accuracy and timely dissemination of information.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and policies.
Assist in drafting and reviewing internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders on legal matters and compliance issues.
  • Requirements:
Willing to work Monday to Saturday.
  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, or related field preferred.
Previous experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and corporate governance practices is desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php21,
  • 00 - Php25,000.00 per month
