Senior Manager, Learning Solutions Designer

Business Unit: Operations Operational Support

Level: Senior Manager

Reporting Line: AVP, Operational Support

Position Accountability Statement

The Senior Manager, Learning Experience Designer, is accountable for the strategic oversight, design, and delivery of innovative, high-impact learning solutions that align with organizational goals and drive employee development. This role requires a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and emerging learning technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences. The Senior Manager is responsible for leading a team of learning experience designers and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure learning initiatives are scalable, measurable, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Specific Areas Of Accountability

  • Learning path development: designs series of courses to gain specific skillset and knowledge
  • Course Design: create learning objectives, content, design flow of topics/sequencing, end to end design and development
  • Content Creation: development of training materials, presentations, modules and instructional content
  • Assessment design: creating evaluations to measure effectiveness of the materials, learner's comprehension and retention
  • MicroLearning creation: creation of bite-sized materials
  • Innovation: integrate different methodologies, techniques and technology to enhance learning experience
  • LMS Management/Knowledge Base Tool Management: ensures timely and accurate learning materials are in existing tools, content audits
  • Project planning and implementation related to learning experience
  • UX/UI Design to improve learning experience
