About the Role:The Learning and Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring our internal and external clients have the knowledge and skills to leverage the full potential of our accounting/tax software solutions. You'll be responsible for creating engaging and effective training content, delivering impactful training sessions (mostly conducted online) to internal/external teams, and providing ongoing support to ensure user proficiency and productivity.
In charge of generating learning content for use for both internal and external clients

Reports directly to the Learning and Development Manager/Head of Learning and Development
Develop and execute comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with business goals, targeting the unique needs of internal teams and external client segments- Design and create high-quality training materials in various formats, including e-learning modules, video tutorials, instructor-led workshops,etc. in both synchronous and asynchronous formats. Ensure all materials adhere to branding guidelines in collaboration with the Marketing department.
Collaborate closely with product development teams, subject matter experts, and customer support to identify training needs, gather feedback, and ensure training content reflects the latest software features, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Conduct engaging virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance user proficiency and software adoption for internal teams and external clients; in charge of training schedule and implementation
Provide ongoing support and guidance to internal teams, troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing software usage.- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, user feedback, and performance data. Based on the data, refine and improve training materials and methodologies.
Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and regulatory changes in accounting and taxation software applications to ensure training content remains current, relevant, and aligned with customer needs
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a training and development role, preferably within the accounting/tax software industry
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering engaging training programs across various modalities (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led)
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences.
Proficiency in authoring tools for creating training materials
- Ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends, software updates, and regulatory changes in accounting and tax software
