Job Descriptions:
- Obtain an end-to-end understanding of assigned accounts, including surrounding operations impacting the account, areas generating cash inflow and outflow, General Ledger entries to the account system interfaces, transaction flow of originating and clearing entries, risk, and internal control.
Research and resolve outstanding reconciling items/breaks. Communicate with internal business partners to facilitate the resolution of outstanding items.- Participate as needed in project activity and user acceptance testing (UAT) as assigned.
Maintain awareness of significant changes impacting the business internally and externally and ensure appropriate actions to accommodate or address ongoing efforts.
- Oversee accounts reconciliation, collection, and AR management (Assessment for delinquent accounts and relative loss exposure)
Monitor cash inflow and outflows of assigned service products to ensure collections and deposits or remittances are fully accounted for.- Review of refund disbursements or wallet adjustments to ensure accuracy and validity before endorsing requests for approval.
Support and accomplish reportorial requirements mandated by the financial reporting manager, internal and external audit, and management.
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as may be assigned by the Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree holders of a BS in Accountancy are preferred.
CPA certification is a plus- At least 2 years of experience acquired leading a team with a function or projects completed heavily focused on reconciliation and resolution.
Knowledgeable and comfortable using and dealing with multiple systems. Tech savviness is a huge advantage, especially for candidates with relevant experience in banking or financial institutions with relevant experience in the same capacity.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications. Advanced expertise in MS Excel is an advantage.
Above average communication skills- Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
Adaptable to changing needs and deadlines while remaining calm when under pressure.
- Team player with the ability to interact directly to higher management.
