Job Responsibilities
- Measures Manufacturing Units Per Hour (Std UPH): Establishment and validation of Standard UPH for products and processes with documented work instructions, specifications, and control plan; Evaluation of UPH values for products and processes still under Operations project; Theoretical UPH analysis for new products and/or machines that are not yet physically available in the line
- Champion the efforts on establishment of Standards Machine Utilization (Std MU) for all production/manufacturing equipment.
- Calculate productivity indicators such as Machine usage rate (seconds per unit), Labor HPK (Hours per Thousand Units), Std MU and Man-Machine Ratio (MMR)
- Determines the raw materials consumption (unyielded) for Oracle standard usage rate reference thru incorporating losses brought by system design limitations (inevitable) and required by operational procedures and controls.
- Coordinates with Operations to derive the target Labor and Materials standards
- Support Indirect Labor Standards establishment, analysis, and review
- Recommend projects that maximize productivity of plant operations
- Support the IE Section on production systems evaluation and enhancements.
- Support the pursuance of LEAN culture thru involvement on LEAN projects and activities
- Provides regular written communications, reports, recommendations, and presentations on progress of work coverage and assignments vital in supporting Probe, Assembly and Test Operations
- Maintains pertinent records and files in soft and/or hard copies
- Support Layout Section on: Product allocation per machine update; Workstation layout, furniture and fixture design considerations based on man and materials flow and MMR
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering
- With experience in core IE job and functions
- Major exposure in manufacturing standards establishment, methods improvement, project management, workflow analysis and documentation.
- Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office application such as Excel, Word, Power Point and Project.
