Our Lead Engineer will be tasked to manage and lead the in-house maintenance team, ensuring that assigned properties are well-maintained and operating at peak performance. To be a key contributor to creating an optimal environment for tenants and visitors while supporting management's commitment to sustainability and cost-effective operations.
Additionally, our Lead Engineer must be equipped to handle the following tasks:
Team Leadership: Manage, lead, and mentor a team of in-house maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high level of productivity and professionalism.
Maintenance Oversight: Oversee and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and operation of various building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
Project Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the long-term reliability and functionality of building systems.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair work, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.
Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize maintenance operations and reduce downtime.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices, creating a safe work environment for the team.
Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-saving initiatives and monitor energy consumption to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and warranties to facilitate efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
Budget Management: Assist in preparing and managing the building's maintenance budget, tracking expenses, and optimizing resource allocation.
Tenant Interaction: Interact with tenants to address maintenance concerns, prioritize requests, and ensure tenant satisfaction with building maintenance and services.
