The team is seeking talented individuals with proven leadership skills to manage a group of Java developers. The ideal candidate will provide support in day-to-day software development operations, possess a strong understanding of the software development process, and have the experience and leadership abilities to effectively lead software development teams. The goal is to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of the business and its customers.
Develop and maintain code for backend applications in the gaming industry using Java frameworks.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, mentorship, coaching, and support to software development teams.
Evaluate and approve requests from subordinates.- Provide effective feedback and performance reviews, ensuring team members meet defined schedules and quality standards.
Create and ensure adherence to KPIs, KRAs, and JDs, ensuring data availability.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities, presentations, providing input on technical feasibility, resource requirements, and timelines. Run meetings, manage and monitor timelines.
Break down project requirements into actionable tasks and deliverables, assigning them to team members and providing proper task delegation.- Design software solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Identify and address code quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
Identify backups and delegate team processes, procedures, and project-related information.- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Fluent in English with strong business communication skills
Previous experience in a lead role
- Knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
Experience with the full software development life cycle- Experience in online game development
Proficiency in Java Spring Framework
- Ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to technical challenges
Experience with problem analysis, resolution, debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
