As the Lead Data Engineer (Technical Infrastructure), you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing our data infrastructure. You will lead a team of engineers to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our data systems. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that support business goals.
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Manage and optimize data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and security.
Implement data governance and best practices for data management.- Oversee the integration of new data sources and the improvement of existing data workflows.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on infrastructure.
Expertise in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka).- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Proven experience in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
