The responsibilities associated with this position include:
- Design and implement land acquisition strategies and plans for new renewable energy and energy storage development sites;
- Work closely with landowners, land brokers, local governments, regulatory agencies and community organizations to gain support for the proposed renewable energy and energy storage projects;
- Work with lawyers, permitting specialists, engineers and technical and commercial specialists to determine whether sites are suitable for renewable energy and/or energy storage development;
- Lead the process of purchasing or leasing the land;
- Assist the Project Manager and project team in developing and building the renewable energy and energy storage projects by providing contiguous land options and leases;
- Travel to project areas/sites to conduct research and due diligence on land for sale/lease, landowner information and background and local and national government and regulatory requirements in acquiring/leasing the land;
- Coordinate, facilitate and organize meetings with participating landowners and/or land brokers, including other stakeholders;
- Represent the Project Manager, project team and organization during discussions, site ocular inspections and due diligence with landowners and/or land brokers;
- Present and discuss project information to landowners, land brokers and other stakeholders necessary for the acquisition or lease of the land;
- Assist the Project Manager and project team during permitting process of the project;
- Establish and maintain landowner and land broker relationships throughout the land acquisition process;
- Alongside SNAP primary departments in-charge, establish, maintain relationships, and identify key decision makers with associated government agencies such as LRA, BIR, RD, DA, DAR, DENR, NCIP among others.
- Negotiate and obtain executed land acquisition/lease contracts; and
- Provide strategic insights and organize information (such as maps, database of prices, competitors, etc.) in aid of strategic decision making in locations for growth and placement of SNAP's RE Projects.

Experience:
- With 5-7 years experience land acquisition and management, stakeholder engagement and management, Permitting process and understanding of real estate, tax, accounting rules, and has energy industry exposure and familiarity, especially with regulatory and legal requirements
- Preferably a licensed broker
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, law, real estate or any other related course.
