Job Description: As a Land Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading land acquisition efforts for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering positive relationships with landowners and stakeholders.
- Requirements: Identify and evaluate potential land sites for renewable energy projects, considering factors such as location, size, topography, and accessibility.
- Negotiate land lease agreements, purchase contracts, and easements with landowners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Conduct due diligence assessments and title searches to verify land ownership and resolve any legal or regulatory issues related to land acquisition.
- Coordinate with legal, environmental, and regulatory teams to obtain necessary permits and approvals for land use and development.
- Manage relationships with landowners, government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders to address concerns and ensure smooth project implementation.
- Monitor land acquisition budgets, timelines, and expenditures, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Stay updated on land use regulations, zoning laws, and environmental policies affecting renewable energy projects in the Philippines.
-Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or related fields
- Strong understanding of land acquisition processes, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks in the Philippines.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating land agreements and resolving land- related issues for large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software for land acquisition and project management.
