LABORATORY ASSISTANT for
College of Veterinary Medicine BS Zoology, BS Biology, BS Agriculture major in Animal Science or BSED Biology (LPT)
- With particular knowledge and/or experience in Wet Laboratories involving Dissections
With patience in dealing and handling a large class size of 50 students;- Ability to work well under limited supervision
Great communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
For the duties and responsibilities, assist laboratory instructor(s) in the matters pertaining to their laboratory classes, including but not limited to:
- checking students compliance to the safety requirements of the laboratory;
- checking and monitoring student attendance;
- monitoring of the student safety during classes;
- checking and recording of class works as designated by the laboratory instructor;
- preparing and storing of specimens as designated by the lab instructor;
- aid in checking emails and queries of students, as well as respond to them according to the instructions of the professor;
- checking and monitoring cleanliness of the laboratory rooms before and after each classes;
- report and assist in case of any observed emergency;
- attend meeting and/or seminars as required of them by the university, the dean of veterinary medicine and/or the laboratory instructor; and
- all other relevant matters as may be designated by the laboratory instructor.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: Php12,000.00 - Php14,000.00 per month
