- Perform laboratory activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions.
- Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
- Prepare calibration curves for analysis.
- Perform method validation and verification.
- Record, compute and analyze results of testing.
- Collect, prepare and/or test WEM samples.
- Regularly update monitoring forms and control charts.
- Keep test equipment clean and calibrated.
- Write reports, reviews and summaries.
- Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
- Carry out risk assessments.
- Order and maintain laboratory resource inventory
- Update laboratory environmental, safety, hazard and waste disposal records.
- Follow organization's guidelines and policy on quality, Environment, Safety and Health (QESH),
especially on safe chemical handling, storage and disposal
- Commitment to responsibility and participation in the Quality, Environment, Safety & Health, and
CSR programs and activities of the organization.
- Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
