Job Title: Laboratory Analyst
- Reports to: Laboratory Chemist/Supervisor
- Responsible for: Physico-chemical Analysis
The Laboratory Analyst performs physico-chemical analysis and assist the Laboratory Chemist in performing other functions of the physico-chemical section.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical tests based on approved standard operating procedures;
Prepares analytical reagents and laboratory samples needed to conduct analysis;- Verify analytical results using control charting and other statistical methods provided;
Encodes validated analytical results in laboratory information management system program;
- Assists the Laboratory Chemist in maintaining the integrity of laboratory equipment and apparatus;
Support the department in attaining stable conformance with the national and international standards and policies, maintenance of Quality Management System, and third-party accreditation;- Assists the Laboratory Chemist in monitoring inventory of laboratory consumables;
Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of department goals or his/her professional growth programmed by Laboratory Chemist or higher.
- BS Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biology graduate
With PRC Laboratory Technician or Chemist license (advantage)
- Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in analytical laboratory or related field
Knowledge in accreditation standards is an advantage- Good written and verbal communication skills
Can work in weekends and on shifting schedule whenever required
