JOB DESCRIPTION:- Ensures the cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the kitchen at all times by adhering to the sanitation guidelines;
Assists the cooks and servers whenever necessary;- Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation;
Follows the hotel's and the authorities criteria for garbage disposal and recycling;
- Keeps the waste bin area neat and clean;
Executes general cleaning as requested, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, emptying trash cans, and placing recyclables in the proper bins;- Follows established methods while cleaning and sanitizing pots, pans, utensils, and other small kitchen equipment that is often used; and
Assists the manager or the chef in charge with some light food preparation.
