Summary: As a Kitchen Helper, you'll assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, and support the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Your role is essential in helping us deliver high-quality food and exceptional service to our clients.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and preparing simple dishes.
- Help with plating and presentation of food items for events and catering orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.- Ensure all food storage areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
