Job Description

JOB TITLE: Kitchen Manager (Upscale Indian restaurant)

QUANTITY: 1

Work Location: BGC, Taguig

Work Schedule: Shifting schedule, 6x/ week Operating hours 10am-10pm/12mn

Salary: 40-60k plus performance bonus

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience in a culinary role, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management position.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and health standards.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food and service.
Proficiency in inventory management and cost control practices.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Food Preparation and Quality Control:
  • Supervise and coordinate food preparation activities, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
Monitor food presentation and portion sizes to maintain consistency.

  • Staff Management:
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers.
Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and manage performance to ensure productivity and teamwork.

  • Inventory and Ordering:
  • Manage inventory levels and oversee ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize waste and control costs.

  • Kitchen Operations:
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of kitchen appliances.
Implement and enforce hygiene and safety standards in accordance with health regulations.

  • Menu Development and Cost Control:
  • Collaborate with the culinary team and management to develop menu items and specials.
Monitor food costs and portion sizes to optimize profitability without compromising quality.

  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service.
Communicate kitchen needs and concerns to management and address customer feedback promptly.

  • Training and Development:
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to kitchen staff.
Foster a positive work environment and promote professional growth within the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
