Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key supermarket chains and institutional clients in the food industry.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets within assigned accounts.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the supermarket and institutional segments, including expanding product offerings and securing new contracts.Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with key accounts to ensure profitability and long-term partnerships.
  • Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and use insights to inform strategic decisions.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to align strategies and meet customer needs.Forecasting and Planning: Develop sales forecasts and account plans, monitor performance against targets, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
  • Promotions and Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives tailored to supermarket and institutional channels.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, food safety standards, and company policies in all dealings with key accounts.
  • Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in sales or account management are a plus.
Experience: At least 5 years proven track record of success in key account management within the food industry, with a focus on supermarket chains and institutional clients.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the food industry, including market trends, distribution channels, and regulatory requirements.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with key stakeholders.
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic industry with evolving market conditions.
