Job descriptionThe Key Accounts Specialist acts as a representative of the company to its customers and is responsible in processing the end to end business transaction of the company and the account.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accounts Management
- Regularly visits the customers or accounts based on the assigned Monthly Call Plan;
Checks for potential accounts by meeting with different in-charge of procurement of Hotels, Restaurants, or Cafs;- Plans Daily Itinerary and declare to the District Sales Manager (DSM) and Sales Manager all planned visitation;
Timely reports to the DSM and Sales Manager any issues or concerns on the assigned accounts;
- Ensures the availability of displays and ensure that the actual display are based on the planogram;
Resolves issued or complaints from customers or principals and escalate unresolved issues to the DSM/Sales Manager;- Maintains deep understanding of customer needs;
Monitors accounts performance and suggests sales strategies to increase sales;
- Regularly checks the expiration of products on the consignment accounts to immediately facilitate returns;
Monitors and checks the Sales Reports of all Merchandizers to know the sales performance of each brand;- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs;
Purchase Orders, Distribution and Returns
- Regularly monitor the inventory level of the products on all accounts;
Ensures all assigned accounts have available stocks on the shelves by checking and referring to the offtake or sales report;- Communicates with Logistics and Warehouse Team of DFVI and/or to Dyna Drug Corporation to ensure that the orders of the accounts are delivered on time;
Ensures to be updated on the stock level of each account handled;
- Timely submits PO to the Sales Admin to ensure that there are no delay with the processing of the accounts orders;
Facilitates the returns of products from different accounts;- Checks and gather data on why there are returned products;
Develops and suggests strategies to minimize product returns;
- Achieves sales growth and/or hit sales targets for the assigned accounts;
Set daily, monthly, or annual plan of action or goal setting to effectively hit or surpass sales target;
- Reports to the DSM for any issues or concerns that may affect sales performance;
Identify and reports emerging markets and market shifts while beingfully aware of new products and competition status;- Ensures collection of sales from the consignment accounts after each PO;
Communicates with the Contact Person of the account for any unsettled receivables;
- Suggests marketing initiatives to improve sales performance or improve sales of an underperforming brand;
- Supports the Sales Manager and Dygen Pharma Business Manager in developing programs, policies and procedures relative to the improvement of the Department and its services;
Abides by the company rules and regulations implemented with regards to policies and procedures, Quality Management, and in the Employee's Handbook; and
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Sales Manager and Dygen Food Business Manager.
- Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Needed for the Job)
A graduate of Business Administration or Management or any Business-related course
1 4 years related experience in field sales in any industry or 1 2 years related experience in field sales in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)- Management Skills: Management Skills: Time Management, Planning, organizing and coordinating
Demonstrates good judgement, attention to details and dealing with complexity
- Excellent interpersonal skill, social perceptiveness, and self-confident
Computer Skills: spreadsheet, word processing, presentation
- Interpersonal skill, social perceptiveness, patience, and self-confidence
