We are seeking a Key Account Manager for customers in the market for autonomous drone solutions for industrial inspection and mapping. This role requires an experienced, dynamic individual who can ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new key accounts, build strong relationships with key clients, and collaborate effectively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new key accounts, facilitating seamless integration and alignment with organizational processes and objectives.
- Sales Revenue: Generate post-sales revenue from key accounts by focusing on accessory sales, new products, and RMA service revenue, meeting or exceeding set targets.
- License Renewals: Strive to ensure that total renewal revenue from key accounts meets or exceeds set targets.
- Customer Insights: Gather customer experience pain points and process improvement opportunities from customer interactions, then communicate them to stakeholders.
- Consistently monitor and evaluate the performance and success of key account initiatives and ensure that all initiatives meet or exceed predefined KPI targets.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling activities within key accounts to increase revenue.
- Deliver monthly reports analysing key account progress, insights, and improvement recommendations. Additionally, track, measure, and report on set goals and KPIs to ensure meeting or exceeding targets.
Skills and Competencies:
- 3+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or a related field, supporting clients in Australia, the USA, or the UK
- Strong technical background
- Experience in sales and relationship management for a high-value product
- Proven track record of managing key accounts successfully and achieving KPIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage contracts and client expectations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer insights.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics related to key account management.
- Experience in the field of mining, engineering, construction and public safety a plus
