Job Description:Kaizen Engineer is the primarily in-charge in design and fabrication of jigs, dies, tools, equipment, racks, etc. that will help to achieve Kawasaki Production System.
ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS:
- Schedule all incoming approved job orders and activities in Kaizen work shop.
Monitor inventory and ordering of supplies and miscellaneous items in Kaizen workshop.- Maintain tools, equipment and machines at Kaizen work shop in good condition.
Foster safe working conditions in Kaizen work shop
- Control and monitor budget for Kaizen work shop supplies.
Keep and submit daily work records and accomplishments
TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS:- Initiate projects related to improving quality and productivity.
Practice and implements tool such as 5s, Kawasaki Production System, and Kaizen.
- Initiates in conducting studies pertaining to improving quality, reducing cost, improving delivery and morale.
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data to identify issues to assist production in problem solving.- Assist production group with the implementation of employees suggestion.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering- Preferrably with at least 1 year of related work experience but fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
Knowledgeable in AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Can work well with minimum supervision
