About The Role

To ensure each assigned project is executed based on the project guidelines while ensuring that design specifications, quality standards, proper testing and commissioning methods and compliance requirements are followed. Especially while there are no projects, he assists the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team with site monitoring, site reporting, operations and maintenance of Solar PV Assets and coordinates with the O&M Manager as well as Quality Assurance personnel.

Project Development (incl. Operations & Maintenance Projects)

Assist Project Manager in creating project timelines, project-related documentation and during execution of solar construction projects or Energy Management projects

Assist in coordinating and managing subcontractors progress and performance

Assist Project Manager in terms of project-related client communication

Assist Project Manager in ensuring quality of installation of the project

Assist Project Manager in proper safekeeping and inventory of materials on site

Create weekly reports for submission to both management team and client

Handle construction logbook

Aid in permitting works, if necessary

Communicate effectively with client in terms of project reporting

Follow proposed work schedules and pre-planned activities according to plan, while keeping an open eye for necessary changes

Escalate project and client issues to Project Manager proactively where necessary

Complete project documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 and company requirements from the start of the project until handover

Supervise electricians, solar laborers and/or subcontractors assigned to his or her project

Operations & Maintenance

Assist O&M Manager in supervision and execution of necessary repairs and upgrades

Assist O&M Manager in maintaining a high quality at all installations

Assist with permitting works and communicate with key personnel from Local Government Units, Distribution Utilities, etc.

Assist O&M Manager with regular site visits at existing sites to ensure quality of installation and rectification

Assist O&M Manager with punch listing and Testing & Commissioning of new installations

Operations Technical Support

Assistance in finalizing As-built plans assist the Design team in finalization of As Built plans using AutoCAD for the completed projects

Participate in installation and quality assurance of all ongoing projects

Other technical support (as needed)

What we're looking for..

Education:

At least a college graduate with an Electrical Engineering degree

Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer

Other Skills:

Must be well-versed in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint at the least

Must know AutoCAD and other related software

Knowledge in PVSyst and/or Helioscope is a plus

Basic knowledge in Sketchup is preferred

Can be a fresh graduate or have at least one (1) year experience
