Work Location: Angeles City, Pampanga
The roles and responsibilities expected from the junior site engineer are as follows:
- Managing the progress of the construction projects (in terms of the labor and materials)
Overseeing building works, set-up of work sites and facilities- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
Supervising contracted staff in collaboration with the Site Foreman
- Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets and required timelines
Preparing site accomplishment reports (for monitoring and billing purposes) and filling in relevant paperwork required by the general contractors- Ensuring safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered in coordination.
Attending Technical, Management and Safety meetings
Skills:
- Attention to detail and ability to deal with different types of site employees is also expected.
Commercial Awareness - understanding of how your actions can affect profitability- Team work and clear communication
Technical knowledge and skills
Management skills
Education:- Preferably a Civil Engineer, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Construction Management graduate
Must have a COSH or BOSH Certification
- Background in the faade (glass and aluminum) industry and project management is an advantage.
