Junior Performance Tester

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field

- Certifications like ISTQB, IAT, DOD, CISA, CISSP, CE, FL, QA, OSCP, CEH could

be beneficial

- Proven experience in performance testing and tuning

- At least 1 year of experience with designing, planning, and execution of system

testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality at all stages of the system life

cycle

- Experience in automation testing and familiarity with automated test frameworks and

processes

- Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

- Familiarity with how web applications work over HTTP protocol

- Knowledge of software testing, UML and design techniques

- Basic knowledge of SOA architecture (SOAP and REST Services)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilitie

• Job Description

- Plan, design, and execute performance tests to evaluate the responsiveness,

stability, and scalability of software applications and systems.

Test Script Development:

-Create and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g.,

JMeter, LoadRunner) and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).

Test Data Management:

-Develop and manage test data sets that represent realistic usage patterns and load

profiles.

Load Generation:

-Configure and manage test environments to simulate real-world user loads, including

peak usage scenarios.

Monitoring and Analysis:

-Monitor and analyze system performance metrics during tests, identifying

performance bottlenecks, and suggesting improvements.

Reporting:

-Prepare detailed performance test reports, including findings, recommendations, and

performance metrics.

Collaboration:

-Work closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to address

performance issues and optimize system performance.

Continuous Improvement:

-Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance testing

and actively contribute to process improvements.
