JOB MISSIONJunior Legal Officer is generally responsible for providing legal assistance / support to the company and monitoring company's legal affairs, ensuring that company remains compliant with all laws and regulations concerning its field of business.
Files, monitors, attends to Small Claims, Civil, Criminal, Labor and Special Proceedings Cases of the Company;
- Drafts pleadings, demand letters, notices, letters, position papers and all related correspondence and documents in connection with the Company's legal and corporate concerns;
Files and monitors Insurance Claims of the company;- Maintains accurate and updated List of Properties and Vehicles for Insurance Coverage;
Ensures timely payment of Insurance Premiums;
- Drafts, reviews and Monitors Corporate documents like Contracts of Lease, Deeds of Sale, Fuel Supply Agreement, Chattel Mortgage, etc.;
Files and / or draft corporate documents including, but not limited to Secretary's Certificates and Board Resolutions, Articles of Incorporation, By Laws and corporate reportorial requirements- Processes titling concerns and due diligences;
Monitors and registers Personal Vehicles before LTO;
- Processes notarial tasks and related leg works;
Performs other duties and special projects that may be assigned from time to time.
Graduate of Bachelor of Laws;- With at least two (2) years experience in Paralegal or similar roles;
With knowledge/experience/background on civil/criminal practice;
- With experience in handling labor cases;
With good understanding of Philippine Laws;- With good legal research and writing skills;
Strong communication and negotiation skills;
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills;
Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and time management;- Extensive computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
Willing to work in Muntinlupa City;
- Willing to do heavy fieldworks and work for extended hours if necessary.
