Our client is a well-established Australian law firm specializing in Insurance law.
The successful candidate will be assisting the team in delivering legal services to clients by joining the processing team. You will initially work on file opening and preparation, as well as maintaining the firm's internal systems before being trained to higher level processes.
- Key Roles and Responsibilities:
_Documentation and File Opening Task_
- Ability to accurately undertake data entry and other relevant processing tasks (i.e. client name and details)
Electronic Filing and Document Organization such as splitting, collating, and renaming- Opening, drafting, and preparation of new files
Transcribe, proofread, and format correspondence and legal documents (via dictation)
- Collating of briefs to doctors and Counsel
Drafting medical and counsel brief indexes- Manage, organise, and maintain documents in electronic filing system
Provide general administrative assistance such as splitting documents and combining documents
- Archive, save, and safekeep files according to the firm's procedure
_General Administration_
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive documents
Collaborate with the paralegal/clerk for finished tasks and documents- Liaise with other departments in a professional matter to accomplish team goals
Managing e-mail inbox, calls and client communications
A Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration/ Legal Management/ Political Science or any business/legal-related course
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to communicate well both in written and spoken English- Effective planning and solid time management skills
Honest, reliable and able to work autonomously
- Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City
