Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior hairstylists in executing hair treatments, cuts, and styles
- Provide hair washing, conditioning, and scalp treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
- Keep work stations clean and organized
- Maintain and sanitize hairdressing tools and equipment
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
- Recommend hair care products to clients
- Manage appointments and walk-in clients
- Assist in administrative tasks such as inventory management
- Participate in training and development programs
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a hairstyling program from a recognized institution
- Valid cosmetology license
- 1-2 years of experience in a salon environment
- Proficiency in haircutting, hairstyling, and coloring techniques
