The Junior Finance Manager will assist in managing the financial activities of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. This role is designed for a dynamic individual who can support the finance team in achieving its goals by providing accurate financial information and insights to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, analyzing variances and providing explanations.
Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, assisting with internal and external audits as necessary.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Support and Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and guidance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Financial Planning, Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting skills- Financial Reporting, Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance knowledge
Experience with financial software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
