Junior DevOps Engineer

Skills/Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CI/CD, GitLab, and pipeline deployment.
• Understanding of applications logs monitoring and networking.
• Understanding of security frameworks and compliance.
• Skills in UI testing and operations monitoring.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services (e.g.: AWS and GCP).
• Familiarity with test and diagnostics automation (e.g.: Datadog).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g.: Jira).
• Familiarity with security agents (e.g.: Splunk and SentinelOne).
• Knowledge of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

The ideal candidate will be collaborative, a strong team player, and capable of working independently. They should have a high sense of accountability and urgency, along with effective communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular production testing for all UBX platforms for payments, lending and banking-as-a-service.
• Conduct proactive infrastructure health checks for platforms in AWS and GCP.
• Fix issues encountered during monitoring and check logs for troubleshooting.
• Manage pipeline deployments and deploy front-end and back-end applications.
• Attend to and resolve infrastructure-related tickets, including Jira support.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding operations and monitoring.
• Monitor applications and IT software, correlating logs from different sources.
• Perform patching and upgrade/downgrade infrastructure resources.
• Optimize infrastructure resources and ensure efficient operations.
• Work within Agile methodologies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Capacity to work remotely, as needed.
