Junior DevOps Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provision, configure, and manage AWS cloud resources based on project requirements.

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to automate the software delivery process.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the deployment and management of infrastructure components.

Work with Docker to create and manage containerized applications, and Kubernetes for container orchestration.

• Facilitate continuous integration by automating the build, test, and integration processes.

Automate deployment processes to ensure reliable and consistent application releases.

• Set up monitoring solutions to track system performance and configure alerts for potential issues.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.

• Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.

Implement security measures in the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure configurations to ensure compliance with security standards.

• Respond to and troubleshoot incidents related to infrastructure or deployment issues.

Stay informed about new AWS services, DevOps practices, and industry trends through continuous learning.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• At least 2 years experience as DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role

Proficiency with GIT and Github workflows, knowledge in database management, server management.

• Obtain relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, to validate skills in AWS cloud services and DevOps practices.

Extensive experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
