We are seeking a talented and experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on system administration, security, and risk management. As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability, security, and efficiency of our organization's IT infrastructure.
Manage and maintain the organization's servers, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's systems and data from cyber threats, viruses, and unauthorized access.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and solutions to meet business needs.
Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training purposes.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in system administration and cybersecurity.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience working in an IT department, with a focus on system administration and security.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration.
Experience in Bash Command
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and switching.
Knowledge in TCP and UDP protocols
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
