Java Fullstack Developer - REMOTE
Salary: Up to $2700 (
Final offer will depend on the client's approval and assessment of the candidate's overall qualifications)
Work Schedule: M-F 9AM - 5PM EST
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to develop responsive and mobile-friendly web applications
- Design and implement front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React
- Develop server-side components using programming languages such as Java
- Build and optimize database structures and queries to ensure efficient and scalable data storage and retrieval
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of both front-end and back-end code to ensure reliability and security
- Ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (not required with demonstrated knowledge and experience)
- Proven 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java)
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries like React
- Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Portfolio showcasing previous work
- Mendix platform experience desired but not required. Willingness to learn Mendix if no experience
