Java Developer (HYBRID)

About the Role: As a Java Developer with Factura Software OPC, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing the back-end components and services for our clients eCommerce solutions. You will contribute to building a highly scalable mobile commerce platform, emphasizing quality-first development to ensure product stability.

• Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop back-end solutions using Java, Microservice architecture, Postgres, SQL, and Postman for testing.

• Be part of the team development of the MVP for our client project, collaborating with team members to analyze business requirements and create technical design specifications.

Innovate and drive new ideas within delivery teams.

• Collaborate effectively with developers, ensuring project completion including infrastructure and deployment tasks.

Stay updated with evolving technologies and contribute to integrating new technologies into our solutions.

• Write effective unit tests and develop automation tools for testing code.

Debug applications proficiently and conduct unit and system testing.

• Provide clear and concise status updates on project progress.

• Required Skills:

Proven experience in Java, Microservice architecture, Postgres, SQL, Unit/Integration Testing and other modern Java technologies.

• Good to Have Skills:

Familiarity with Spring Boot (Tomcat, Maven, JSON), Cloud services, ActiveMQ (or other JMS), API Gateway.

• Experience with DB (Mongo), Linux, Version Control (GitHub, Bitbucket).

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in backend Java development.

Strong programming and debugging skills.

• Knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Exposure to Retail Software is a plus.

• Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges.

* Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

• Can work-onsite Santa Rosa City, Laguna Office - 3 days a week. Working Schedule M-F | 8am-4pm
