Graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or its equivalent
Relevant certification is a plus but not required (i.e., program/technology-specific certifications)
At least 3 years of relevant experience in software development, preferably with focus on enterprise platforms/solutions
Experience in a relevant industry (i.e., utilities or energy sector) and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards is a plus but not required
Proficiency in programming languages such as APEX, Java, Javascript, Python, Dart, R
Experience with database management systems
Familiarity with enterprise software and other relevant platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Talend, Cloudera, Flutter, AngularJS, GenAI)
Strong knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration and business communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
The
Enterprise Services Platforms Developer is primarily responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise services platforms, systems, and applications. This position will support the build phase of enterprise technology and transformation projects and will also execute configuration of relevant systems and tools to ensure the delivery of business process and application requirements.
- I. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, configures, and provides support in the deployment and implementation of solutions
o Conducts back-end/front-end development of solutions based on identified solution design
o Implements customization and enhancement of the platform to meet specific business requirements
o Conducts unit testing of the solution and provide support to functional, integration, and regression testing activities in terms of resolution of issued identified in these phases
o Conducts fine-tuning and optimization of application databases during development, and functional and performance testing in development and testing environments
o Evaluates and conducts technical risk assessment for projects
o Implements integration of the platform with existing systems to ensure seamless flow of data and interoperability of the system
o Ensures the completeness of solution and product information in detailed designs, updated actual specifications and plans, acceptance reports, and pre-go-live operational acceptance test criteria
o Ensures proper turnover of developed solutions to the Enterprise domain lead
o Provides post-Go-Live support and participates in post-implementation review, assessment, and reporting
o Provides Level 3 support for developed domain solutions in Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations and provide inputs to the design of incident handling and support escalation procedures together with the platform owners of customer, grid and enterprise platform domains
Supports the evaluation and acquisition of solutions aligned with technical standards, technology strategy and procurement policies
Participates in solution selection activities (Request for Information or RFI, Proof of Concept or POC, Request for Proposal or RFP, and Proof of Solution or POS) to determine technical and financial viability of solutions
Develops deep understanding and functional expertise of enterprise systems and tools and acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to internal and external clients for the realization of business objectives related to enterprise systems and tools
Provides consultancy to other ICT offices on technology selection, technical evaluation, systems and business impact assessment and risk management of new/emerging technologies/solutions, and lifecycle planning of solutions
