Serves and responds as an interpreter during speeches, meetings, and teleconferences, providing consecutive interpreting/translation between languages (Japanese, English, or Cebuano, if applicable).
Reads and translates technical documents, correspondence, reports, data, forms, and others in the specified language (Japanese or English) ensuring correct grammar and sentence structure and completing promptly.
Listens to complete statements in one language, interprets/translates to the second, and interprets/translates responses from the second into the first language; expresses either approximate or exact interpretation/translation.
Receives briefing or prepares through reading and study on the subject to be discussed before the interpreting session.
Support Admin works with assigned department
Carries out other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned by the immediate head.
Qualifications
Must be a Vocational Graduate, Associate Graduate, College Level or a graduate of any four (4) or five (5) years course
Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) linguistic competence N2, N1 or native
Can speak, read, and write Japanese, English, and Filipino
Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications
with experience in admin work for a manufacturing company
Must have a high sense of responsibility
Has good analytical and critical thinking skills
Willing to relocate Work onsite at Cebu
Experience in a Japanese manufacturing industry is an advantage
Working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 13485) and quality process control is an advantage
