Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Support Specialist with programming experience to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, resolving hardware and software issues, and contributing to the development and maintenance of internal tools and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support:
Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to desktop, laptop, printers, and other peripherals.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
Programming and Development:
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
Assist in the development and customization of software applications to meet the needs of various departments.
  • Collaborate with the development team on larger projects, providing support and coding expertise as needed.
System Administration:
  • Support the administration of servers, network devices, and cloud services.
Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and implement security measures.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of software updates and patches.
Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for IT procedures and systems.
Provide training and support to end-users on new technologies and software applications.
  • Develop user guides and conduct workshops to enhance IT literacy across the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT technical support or a related role.
  • Proven programming experience in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with network protocols, hardware components, and IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting for automation and tool development.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,
  • 00 - Php30,000.00 per month
