You are challenged with solving technical problems and making things work. You provide technical assistance and updates to clients in a timely manner. You have experience in installing and configuring computers, networks, CCTV, devices, and software applications. You are responsible for providing technical support for a full range of business technology, including computer systems (hardware and software), network infrastructure, telecommunications circuits, mobile devices, telephone systems, and audio-visual equipment. S/he must be able to independently assess a reported problem or failure using diagnostic methods and tools, determine the likely cause and take appropriate action to resolve the problem in a timely manner. Often collaborating with other resources (both internal and external), the IT Support Specialist must understand system interdependencies and avoid unintentional interruption of services during troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting end users in technical issues and troubleshooting them through diagnosis/testing.
  • Installing and configuring hardware, networks, devices (like Switch, Router, Servers) and software.
Responsible for file server, firewall maintenance, and security management.
  • Responsible for email server management and regular updates of windows server.
Replacing or repairing the necessary parts.
  • Applying best practice methods and standards for the job.
Speaking to user to quickly determine the root of their problem, following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved. Completes initial diagnosis and progress all issues in a timely fashion to meet customer SLAs, resolving the incidents in timely manner.
  • Providing timely updates and ensuring tickets are closed according to SLA. Responsible for tickets management.
Making required documentation and filing daily activity reports.
  • Documenting and Improving Processes.
Learning, trying, and evaluating new technologies, procedures, standards, and methods
  • QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or similar
  • At least 1 year experience as Technical Support or a similar role
Good hands on technical skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communicator
Ability to follow complex instructions
  • Willingness to travel to client locations
Ability to conduct in-depth research and learn new technologies quickly
  • A team player as well as ablility to work independently
Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
  • Ability to offer excellent customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
