Job Summary:
- Develop detailed technical project plans, define and identify technical scope to ensure high quality and timely delivery of all projects of the unit
- Platform ownership, oversight on the roadmap and upkeep of the applications and platforms
- Build a broad range of technical expertise that can support a variety of projects and initiatives
- Develop a competent technical working knowledge of the businesses, capabilities and applications of the Business Unit
Duties & Responsibilities:
Accountability to ITG:
- Share delegated responsibility for project/program delivery
- Collaborate with peers across ITG and vendors to ensure seamless delivery
- Enforce adherence to IT SDLC and Governance structure
Accountability to Applications, Infrastructure and Operations (AIO)/Business:
- Ensure that there is a good understanding of the business unit's operations and strategic direction
- Ensure alignment of strategies with BDO architecture, SDLC and all other governance standards
- Ensure sufficient technical leadership are provided to each project for validation of scope, solutioning, and delivery execution
- Timely & proactive escalation of risks/issues
- Build trust and collaborative relationships with the business leads and their delegates
Accountability to Unit:
- Take full accountability of the quality of technical execution and outcomes
- Build adequate technical competency on relevant systems & technologies across the BU
- Optimize how resources are utilized
- Timely & proactive escalation of risks/issues to the right parties with the intent of resolving or mitigating potential impacts
- Provide oversight & due diligence of vendors, solution providers and their assigned resources
- Act as point of technical escalation for systems analysts and project managers
- Role model the behavioral standards expected from leaders
- Create a working environment that encourages collaboration, inclusion and diversity of thought
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or relevant courses
- 12 or more years of combined full-stack software development, solution design and implementation, or application delivery experience
- 7 or more years of experience in supporting complex projects & programs implementing Enterprise-scale and modern platforms/applications
- Experienced in collaborating and interacting with senior business & IT leaders
- Experienced in handling vendor and third-party engagements
- Must be willing to be assigned and work on-site in Makati/Ortigas
