Job Description- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers and monitors, office server and firewall
Authorizes concerned employees to access company soft phone through a website
Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration
Researches, plans, installs, configures, troubleshoots, maintains and upgrades operating systems
Installs, configures, and upgrade desktop hardware and auxiliary devices which include network cards, printers, modems, mice, and add-in boards
Maintains confidentiality with regards to the information being processed, stored, or accessed in the network
Enrolls newly hired employees to biometrics system
Creating new users on the shared folder and on Accounting System (NAV) if applicable
Installs required software to newly hired employee's desktop/laptop computer.
Orients newly hired employee regarding IT related equipment such but not limited to, desktop/laptop computer provided to them, IP messaging, e-mail outlook, shared folders, and archives.
Ensures all IT help desk tickets are all addressed.
Develops various software to ease employee workload.
Studies and asses new IT applications.
- B. Computer System Maintenance
Works as team member with outsourced tech support (Acetech, Inc.) for monthly maintenance of each computer
. Maintains networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems
. Ensures all IT related equipment are maintained regularly
. Ensures all CCTV in the head office, warehouse, service and retail stores are working properly
Synchronizes retail stores daily sales report via internet
Receives e-mail from each retail store daily regarding sales report for the day
Checks e-mails sent by each retail store daily to verify accuracy of the record
Uploads sales report to server, which will reflect on Sales Report Module
Moves scanned copies of sales invoice to Accounting folder
Sends daily update for sales invoice module, via e-mail, to each retail store.
Installs biometrics system to new retail stores
Downloads biometrics logs of head office, warehouse, and all retail stores every 16th day and 1st day of the month, and on the nearest working day when payroll cutoff falls on a weekend.
Receives facsimile (fax) and moves it to a shared folder for employee perusal
Backup outlook files of all employees going to server every 12:00 pm daily.
Backups HT logs for employee monitoring reference every month during MIS (Management Information Systems), and do monthly reports
Loads communication allowance of concerned employees a week before the coming payroll cutoff.
Supports the Admin team on other administrative tasks
