You'll play a vital role in designing, building, and maintaining the internal data architecture of our client's financial systems. You'll also manage coding and database improvements, help drive business development requirements, and work collaboratively with staff to maintain strong working relationships.

Data That Speaks for Itself

• Design, build, and maintain the internal data architecture for CFP.
  
• Perform database coding, maintenance, and improvements.
  
• Develop coding requirements for business development initiatives.
  
• Build and maintain effective relationships with Capstone staff.
  
• Provide data analysis and reporting support.
  
• Assist with the ongoing development of the Xplan system and processes.
  
• Complete allocated projects in a timely manner.
  
• Lead and participate in project management activities.
  

Development - Non-Xplan

• Document company processes and apply digitization into the CRM.
  
• Utilize Power Apps and Power Automate for system enhancements.
  
• Collaborate as a project management team member.
  
• Manage CRM interface and usability.
  
• Oversee data storage and building efforts.
  
• Perform data analytics and reporting using Power BI.
  
• Code using Python, VBA, or equivalent languages.
  
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
  

Development - Xplan

• Drive Xplan system development for both existing and new initiatives.
  
• Enhance the advice process within Xplan.
  
• Customize and enhance templates.
  
• Build and configure Xplan reports.
  
• Manage Xplan site configuration.
  
• Code Xplan Xmerge templates.
  
• Develop email templates using HTML and CSS.
  
• Create wizards and interface development.
  
• Test and configure templates for proper functionality.
  

Qualifications Needed

Coding the Future

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in coding with Python and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and other relevant software applications.
  
• Hands-on experience in development and help desk support.
  
• Working knowledge of IT applications, including project management tools, coding applications, and documentation.
  
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
  
• Highly organized with strong time management abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently, unsupervised, and meet deadlines.
  
• Adaptable and agile, able to thrive in changing conditions.
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Strong motivation and proactive attitude.
  
• First-class interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  
• Desire to actively participate in a team-oriented environment.
  
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science, with a focus on data and coding.
  
• Current knowledge of the financial services industry and its operations.
