Job Description

SpinifexIT is hiring an IT Support Engineer in the Philippines.

The IT Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining, installing, and upgrading hardware and software devices, both remote, onsite, and cloud-based for our global user base. IT support works closely with the SAP Basis Administrators to onboard and offboard employees and provide daily or general operational support across applications. You will receive and respond to IT related issues and requests through our ticket filing support system, JIRA.

You will be required to manage inventory and relocation as well as troubleshooting and maintenance for hardware such as: Laptops, Monitors, Printer or Scanners, CCTV, APs and Biometric devices.

The role further requires, but shall not be limited to, the installation, upgrade, monitoring and troubleshooting of typical corporate software such as:

Microsoft Windows / Mac OS

Google Workspace

Office 365 Applications

Slack and other collaboration tools

Endpoint devices management

A/V Software

Needed expertise:

Solid experience in PC and Laptop troubleshooting

Experienced in maintenance and monitoring of IT Asset Management

Process onboarding and offboarding of employees in terms of managed application accesses

Strong access management experience on security devices, internal tools and software solutions (e.g. anti-virus, malware, WIFI access points, etc.)

Experienced in website administration, familiar with tools such as Wordpress, DNS and certificates

Experience in Cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus

Experience in Database Management system is a plus

This position will report to the IT and System Administration Manager. The role will also work closely with SAP Basis Administrators, other Departments, Team leads, Heads of Business Units, and/or the Executive Leadership Team. Overall, as part of the IT Department under the Support Group, your role also caters to all other IT concerns of the employees of the organization.
